Our passion for small business runs deep.

With over 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing, and operations—and decades immersed in the food industry—our founder Niloo has launched multi-million-dollar brands and startups alike. But her true passion is helping small food businesses thrive.

Her journey began at a young age, working in her immigrant parents’ restaurants, delis, and cafes. Without the resources for branding or marketing support, her parents faced the challenges that many small businesses do: high costs, limited time, and lack of marketing expertise. This experience fueled Niloo’s commitment to making expert branding and marketing accessible to small business owners.

Throughout her career, Niloo has led the creative and strategic direction for global, multi-million-dollar brands, and emerging startups. She also founded her own food company in 2016, bringing Persian snacks to national grocery chains like Whole Foods and online marketplaces.

Niloo founded Mirani & Co. with a simple mission: to make great marketing accessible to small businesses.

Niloo holds an MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Badgers!).

When she’s not working, Niloo can be found testing new recipes, enjoying the beach with her dog Ceiba, browsing the aisles of a grocery store , traveling, or hanging out with her partner, Danny.
